Kroll Security Group provided security planning, design, engineering and construction administration services for this new U.S. Courthouse.
The building is 28 stories above ground, reaching 567 feet high, with 4 levels of parking and support below ground. The building is the largest courthouse in the world with state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to meet the programmatic needs through 2025.
The courthouse is home to a number of governmental entities, including the federal trial courts for Eastern Missouri, federal prosecutors and their related offices, the 8th District US Circuit Court of Appeals, Bankruptcy and Tax Courts. It opened with 25 occupied courtrooms, and by the year 2021, 49 courtrooms are expected to be in use.
