Kroll Security Group (KSG) was hired to provide security planning, design and construction implementation services for this state-of-the-art workplace for over 14,500 employees in Kansas City.
The complex is a low-rise pedestrian-scaled college campus-like environment enhanced by 60% green space and built on approximately 240 acres with 22 buildings, and 16 parking garages for a total of 3.9 million square feet. Amenities include a variety of full-service dining options, indoor fitness center and outdoor recreational/athletic facilities, and retail shops including a bank, convenience store, hair salon, florist and dry cleaners.
KSG was also commissioned by Sprint to conduct security evaluations at twenty-nine (29) of its facilities located across the Continental United States. The purpose of the evaluation was to address the utilization of security forces and systems to establish Sprint standards.
Additionally, benchmarking was conducted to compare Sprint’s security operation against select peer organizations. Security enhancements were provided which covered such areas as Guard Force Management, Alarm and Access Control Systems, CCTV Surveillance, Identification Systems, and Key Control.
