Kroll Security Group Awarded SAFETY Act Designation

Kroll Security Group has been awarded the coveted SAFETY Act Designation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  The Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technology Act of 2002 (SAFETY Act) provides important legal liability protections for providers of qualified anti-terrorism technologies and services.  It is intended to encourage the development of innovative anti-terrorism technologies by creating systems of risk and litigation management.

As part of the qualifying process, Kroll Security Group’s services underwent an extensive evaluation by DHS to establish effectiveness and confidence of repeatability.  The Kroll Security Group services recognized by DHS are:

• Threat Assessments / Security Enhancement Consulting
• Engineering / Design Projects

Kroll Security Group is one of the few firms that have been recognized with a Designation for these services.
