Kroll Security Group (KSG) was retained by Nova Southeastern University (NSU) to develop a Security Systems Master Plan for the University and implement recommendations for existing and new construction facilities. Over 100 buildings were surveyed and over 100 system upgrades were implemented. KSG also provided consulting services for staffing requirements and processes.
The overall objectives for this engagement included the need to conduct an assessment of the existing security systems, recommend appropriate systems design criteria, develop manufacturer or performance standards for equipment, develop implementation approach, and prepare an opinion of probable costs.
KSG developed a specific approach that would satisfy the requirements for the project and assist in meeting the goals and objectives as defined by the client.
Located on a beautiful 300-acre campus in Fort Lauderdale, NSU has more than 25,000 students. NSU is the largest independent institution of higher education in the Southeast, and it is the 6th largest independent institution nationally.
