Kroll Security Group (KSG) assisted Lockwood, Andrews & Newman in conducting a security assessment of the Kyle Field football stadium on the campus of Texas A&M University (TAMU).
The objective of the assessment was two fold. Due to the events of 9/11, TAMU wanted short-term recommendations to specifically address enhancing security for their upcoming game with The University of Texas at Austin on November 2001.
Secondly, TAMU wanted long-term recommendations for permanent security enhancements. In order to achieve the objective, KSG proposed to undertake a holistic review of all security operations at Kyle Field including physical, technical and operational security components.
Kyle Field is the football stadium located on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. It is the home to the Texas Aggie football team, and is known as "The Home of the 12th Man". It was built in 1927 and has a capacity of 82,600.
