Hearst Tower

Kroll Security Group (KSG) was retained by the Hearst Corporation and Tishman Speyer to provide security assessment, planning, design, engineering and construction administration services related to the construction of this new 42-story tower. Completed in 2006, the building serves as the Hearst Corporate Headquarters housing all of Hearst's magazine-publishing operations located in Midtown Manhattan.
The openness of the main lobby and the use of newer greener systems represented challenges to traditional security integration and interface operations. KSG worked diligently with the architects, engineers and manufacturers of these various elements to develop effective and aesthetic solutions.
