Kroll Security Group was contracted by Equity Office Properties Trust to perform a comprehensive security assessment of critical facilities and numerous office buildings nationwide.
This project was broken down into two distinct scopes of work the first being benchmarking and recommendations for company wide security standards and immediate security enhancement recommendations necessitated by 9/11.
This scope of work additionally included a comparison of U.S. vs. International base building security measures, a review of the existing corporate policies and procedures related to security and life safety, establishment of national and site specific criteria and a template for long term, company wide site enhancements.
The second scope of work involved the detailed assessment of 28 High Profile/High Risk facilities nationwide, resulting in a security property report that contained findings and recommendations, which addressed both critical issues as brought to light by terrorist events, as well as “everyday” prudent security measures for high-rise office buildings.
