Continental Global Gateway

Kroll Security Group provided security planning, engineering and construction administration services for a new International and Domestic Airport Concourse located on Terminal C at Newark International Airport. The Global Gateway Program was an addition to and renovation of Terminal C, in Continental Airlines largest hub facility.
The facilities included a new 325,000 square feet, 19-gate concourse for both international and domestic use, a new FIS facility capable of processing 1,500 passengers per hour, a new elevated departures roadway and dual arrivals roadway, a new 3,400-space parking garage with bridge connections to the terminal, a 20,000 square feet Presidents Club, a consolidated 80,000 square feet outbound baggage facility, a new 42 position ramp control tower standing 135 feet above grade, and a 700 foot long airside corridor facilitating connections between Continental's three concourses.
