The Children's Hospital

Kroll Security Group (KSG) is currently providing security consulting and engineering services for the Children’s Hospital. The project consists of the implementation of an integrated security system including access control, security voice communications and IP based video surveillance and recording.
Additionally, KSG designed dedicated audio/video monitoring and recording systems to meet departmental requirements, parking controls and smartcard technology; and evaluated Biometric Access, Infant Protection, Patient Wandering and Asset Tracking systems.
Founded in 1908, The Children’s Hospital is a private, not-for-profit pediatric healthcare network located in Denver, Colorado. It has been ranked one of the best children’s hospitals in America by U.S. News & World Report for more than a decade. With 1,130 pediatric specialists and more than 2,300 full-time employees, The Children’s Hospital is home to a number of nationally and internationally recognized medical programs.
The Children's Hospital occupies a 48-acre parcel of land on the southern edge of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center Campus.
The new $509 million, 270 bed Children's Hospital is a nine-story, one million square feet facility. Included in the new facility is an inpatient facility, outpatient facilities, office building and both surface and structure parking.
