Charlotte Arena

Charlotte, North Carolina

Kroll Security Group (KSG) was retained by Ellerbe Beckett to complete full scope design and implementation security services for the Charlotte Arena.  The design incorporated Division One Guidelines for Stadiums.  Systems were designed to address the requirements of high-capacity public arenas and special needs, while segregating and safeguarding back-of-the-house functions and administrative areas.

The Charlotte Arena opened in the fall of 2005 as the new home for the NBA Bobcats and WNBA Charlotte Sting.  Unlike anything visitors and event planners have seen before, the New Charlotte Arena is alive with entertainment from professional and college sporting competitions to concerts and family events.  The new facility was designed to reflect the vitality of a world-class city as a backdrop.  Other Atlantic Coast Conference sporting events include hockey, arena football, and soccer.
