Abraj Al-Bait Towers - King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project

Kroll Security Group (KSG) was retained by the Saudi Bin Laden Group to provide security consulting, design and implementation services for the Development of King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project (DKAAEP).  The new facility will be constructed in Makkah, Saudi Arabia and will boast a state-of-the-art multiplex.  It is the largest mixed use project of its kind.

KSG’s initial scope of work for this project includes the completion of a detailed Risk Assessment with Master Plan Report, Security Systems Design, Construction Documents, Product Selection, and preparation of Order of Magnitude budgets.

Security Systems included:

  • Access Control Systems
  • Alarm Monitoring Systems
  • Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
  • Dedicated Communications Systems
  • Special Security Equipment & Devices

The facility consists of six towers of residential apartments; one high-rise office complex; a five-star hotel with 1477 individual units; a four-story parking garage; and a shopping mall with food courts and support facilities.  The towers range in height from 24-37 floors.  The build-out of the facilities is estimated to contain an estimated 1,487,800 m2 of space and 29,580 m2 of land overlooking the Holy Harem.
